Aberdeen Cyrenians staff and volunteers came together last week to recognise and celebrate the work carried out by the organisation throughout the year.
More than 60 people from across the various projects gathered together at The Office on Friday 22nd May, with each team receiving an award in appreciation of their work.
Three staff were also recognised for their dedicated service to Aberdeen Cyrenians, with each receiving a milestone long service award.
Office Administrator Lesley Allan celebrated 10 years with Aberdeen Cyrenians and Margaret House Manager Steve Hughes reached his 15 year milestone.
The biggest award of the night went to Charlie Neave, the chef at our Wernham House project. Charlie celebrated an incredible 25 years of service with the organisation, and is only the third member of staff to get this award in the 47-year history of Aberdeen Cyrenians.
Chief Executive Susan Montgomerie, who presented the long service awards on the night, said: “The Staff and Volunteer Recognition Evening was a great success, and it was very rewarding to bring staff, volunteers and council of management members together to recognise the organisation’s achievements throughout the year.
“I was especially honoured to present long service awards to three of our staff, who have dedicated a combined total of 50 years service to Aberdeen Cyrenians.”
